Does my phone support eSIM?
Most phones from 2019 onwards do, including iPhone XS and newer, Google Pixel 3 and newer, and Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer. The phone must also be carrier-unlocked. See the full device list.
When should I install it?
Install it at home on Wi-Fi, a day or two before you travel. The plan's days only start counting when the eSIM connects to a network at your destination.
Can I make calls?
The plans are data only. Calls and messages work through apps such as WhatsApp, FaceTime and Telegram, and your regular number stays active on your main SIM.
Fixed or daily plan: which one?
A fixed plan gives you a total, for example 10 GB for 30 days. A daily plan gives you a set amount every day, for example 1 GB a day, which suits heavy daily use on shorter trips.
What if I run out of data?
Buy a new plan for your destination at any time. It arrives by email in minutes, just like the first one.
