Tip: install your eSIM before you travel, while connected to Wi-Fi. For most plans, your validity period only starts once you connect at your destination.
Important: most eSIMs can only be installed once. Do not delete the eSIM from your phone until your trip is over.

- Tap Use QR Code and scan the code. If you can't scan it, tap Enter Details Manually and use the SM-DP+ address and activation code shown on your eSIM page.
- Give the line a label, such as "Travel".
- When prompted, keep your Primary line for calls and SMS, and choose the Travel line for Cellular Data.
Samsung Galaxy

- Tap Add eSIM > Scan QR code from service provider.
- Scan the QR code from your eSIM page (open the Install eSIM button in your email on another screen) and confirm.

- Tap + Add SIM > Download a SIM instead?
- Scan the QR code from your eSIM page and follow the prompts.
When you arrive
- Turn on the eSIM line.
- Set it as the line for mobile data.
- Turn on Data Roaming for the eSIM line. This is required and won't cost you anything extra.
- If you want to avoid roaming charges from your home carrier, turn off data roaming on your primary line.
Not connecting?
- Restart your phone.
- Check that data roaming is ON for the eSIM line.
- Go to network selection, turn off automatic selection, and choose another available network manually.
